We understand that you prefer to live independently, surrounded by friendly faces, local shops and a familiar environment. We also know that there may be a time that you are no longer able to drive, and that relying on family and friends to get around can be difficult.
People use Safeside Community Transport services when driving a car is a chore, or no longer even possible. Some have a disability or condition that prevents them from driving. Others prefer to no longer travel on major roads or by public transport. Other people travel with us if they need to attend one of the major hospitals for an appointment, as the cost of parking can be unaffordable and the drive there challenging.
